I ran across a couple of very old drawings that had suffered some wear and tear. So I used Photoshop to clean them up.
In this image, I first used the Stamp and Spot Healing tools to clean up the dirty and inked areas. I removed the pink background and isolated the components in separate layers. Several adjustments colorized the elements nicely. I also used color shapes and clipping masks to get the two shades of pink in her dress and accessories. Lastly, I added a pattern and color overlay for the background and retyped the title with Stud font from Typekit.
